4.  Eulogy for My SanityBack in my childhood, when I was young and free,
My mind was calm and quiet as it should be,
Learning the values that he needed in life,
Away from the pain, the sorrow, and the strife.
But something inside him changed as he grew,
Something sinister has started to brew,
Infecting his mind like a lethal poison,
Affecting his conscience, his sense of reason.
Acting on instinct without any judgment,
The chaos began in a fleeting moment,
His conscience destroyed, full fury in effect,
Now able to kill without any regret.
Dear God, help me out of this horrible cell,
The damage done is something I cannot tell,
Fueled by rage, with gun and blade in hand...
BRING FORTH DESTRUCTION ON THIS UNHOLY LAND!

5. Ode to My Butterfly KnifeBrought from a peddler I met along the way,
Owning something for real just made my day.
So read the message that I'm about to relay,
Before you think about something to say.
The darkness within is about to break free,
And it may throw away my sanity.
But the light inside sealed the entity,
For a cruel fate be bestowed upon me.
So even if I brought home a weapon,
I will never become the devil's minion.
Because I may as well become a demon,
Until I find a permanent solution.

(Wrong order... xD)

So here's my dA Story, ladies and gents.

First of all, I was more focused on photography, namely landscapes, solo pics, and objects. Despite not having a camera of my own, I managed to do some practice by borrowing my mom's phone (a Samsung Galaxy S2). The first three pictures here are so far the best ones that I managed to take using that phone... And I honestly don't have enough cash to get my own smartphone (mine's a Nokia 1661-c model, a 2G phone).

Second, poetry. Those two sample works were a result of a school seatwork I had in my creative writing class, and considering that I may lose them someday (since it was written on paper) I decided to upload them here to preserve the memories.

In other words, I kinda owe dA a little thanks for allowing even amateurs like me to show off what we can offer to the community. It's not by the number of watchers or favorites that you get, but it matters on how we all came here for the same purpose: to appreciate the value of art in any form. :)

That's all folks. Happy 14th Birthday to deviantART, and more to come!
